Great Role - Transport Allocator - Wetherill Park
The main purpose of the Transport Allocator is to actively and effectively plan & execute the daily load and route plan whilst ensuring the system completion of loads as they occur. A great entry point for someone ready to learn, grow, and be fully supported along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- The daily load and route plan for all channel deliveries is executed.
- Direct the Independent Contractors in their execution of the daily load and route plan.
- Ensure permanently placed fleet vehicles are on site.
- Abide by the predetermined daily load quantities for Independent Contractors. Monitor daily loads to ensure service delivery to clients.
- Ensure the data completion of all loads ‘live’ in FMS and PC Despatch.
- Ensure all issues are dealt with immediately and a solution found as they arise.
- Control and monitor the daily and weekly revenue plan.
- Compile all relevant required paperwork from previous day and ensure data is entered.
- Communicate all delivery/pickup issues with Contractual Clients and other customers.
- Perform the Fatigue Management audit requirements,
- Immediately report any incidents accidents or non-conformance to Management.
- Chase up any outstanding Toolbox/ Safety Bulletins to achieve a weekly 100% target
- Contact potential drivers and ensure all requirements are met to commence with the company
- Complete all KPI reports as required
- After hours contact for end of day unfinished routes.
- Assist in all areas in your work environment.
- Participate in regular Company and Independent Contractor meetings.
- Willing and able to follow processes & procedures
- Geographical knowledge and road system
- Transport Allocator experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to see impacts or knock on effects during problem solving,
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Preferably Excel
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
