This First Nations Communities Trust Associate role is focused on assisting the Trust Managers to ensure First Nations Communities trust relationships are administered effectively in line with legislative & business guidelines and develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients and partners.
About the Role:
- Development of strong relationships with external stakeholders to enhance our reputation in the area of First Nations Communities trusts and assist with identification of new relationships
- Assist in the administration of native title trusts in accordance with legislation, company policy and procedures (e.g: payment processing, preparation for and attendance at Trustee Advisory Council meetings, beneficiary meetings and communication, compliance plans, reporting, reviews) on a profitable and sound commercial basis
- Support the Trust Manager in the management of relationships with any Executive Office and Advisory or Co-Trustee Council functions
- Ensure a thorough understanding of the needs and circumstances of traditional owner communities so that all trust relationships can be managed for their end benefit and we can continue to improve our offering
- Provide support in addressing operational needs for internal stakeholders (including but not limited to assisting in managing the Native Title queue and completion of Native Title service requests as required)
About You:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a relevant field e.g. administration, customer service, Aboriginal Corporation, or non-profit organisation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
- Demonstrated relationship management capabilities
- Effective time management, prioritising and delegation skills
- Good communication and relationship building skills
