Job Description
We are seeking talented, motivated, and innovative undergraduates to join our dynamic and high-performing Flooding & Stormwater team in Brisbane!
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Undertaking technical project works including design and review of drawings, specifications, estimates and report
- Undertaking Civil and water engineering design calculations, hydrology and hydraulics calculations
- A variety of civil design tasks relating of roads, drainage, dams, storm water, mining, development, flood studies, geotechnical
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data to support team decisions and project outcomes.
- Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure our engineering solutions are cutting-edge.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Problem Solving: Identify and solve engineering problems to improve processes and product quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar
- Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
- Experience working within a team in retail, hospitality or customer service industries highly desired
- Possesses a strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Are innovative thinkers and problem-solvers
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent rapport building skills and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
