At Uniting, we’re proud to support older Australians to live independently, safely and with dignity. We’re looking for a calm, organised and people-focused Village Manager to join our team for 3-3.5 days per week. Can be across 5 days if preferred.
This is a rewarding, community-facing role supporting the wellbeing and satisfaction of residents – and helping create a harmonious, well-run and welcoming village environment.
Your new role
As the on-site Village Manager, you’ll be the friendly and capable go-to person for residents, staff and contractors. You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the village, build strong relationships with residents, coordinate maintenance and service teams, and ensure that all compliance and safety requirements are met.

Key responsibilities include:
What you’ll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude, presence and care to this important role – formal qualifications and experience are helpful, but not essential. If you’ve worked in a retirement living, housing or community-based environment – even in an administrative or support role – and you’re ready to step up, we’d love to hear from you.

To thrive as a Village Manager, you’ll need:
Experience in retirement living, aged care, housing or community services will be well regarded, but is not essential if you bring a commitment to doing the role well.
What’s on offer
Your impact
In this role, you’ll directly enhance the wellbeing of our residents – helping them live with confidence, comfort and choice in their later years. You’ll also be a key player in Uniting’s long-term housing strategy, ensuring the success of our transition to a rental model that better serves the community.
Ready to shape the future of retirement living?
Please include a brief cover letter telling us why this role speaks to you, and how your skills or experience (formal or informal) would make you a great fit. Apply today to join a trusted, progressive organisation with a legacy of care, advocacy and action.
For all enquiries, please contact Lynn at lbailey@uniting.org
