Dominion City Church is seeking a passionate and skilled or unskilled volunteer pianist to join our worship team. As a new, multicultural Kingdom church in Australia, we have the heart to raise leaders kings and priests who will transform society for good. Though we are a small, growing community, our church family spans many countries, united by a commitment to worship, spiritual growth, and positive change.
Role Overview:
The Volunteer Worship Team Pianist will play during worship services, helping create an atmosphere of reverence and celebration. We welcome both experienced ministers and those eager to serve in worship. If you have experience as a pianist in a worship setting, we would love for you to assist in coaching and guiding new, upcoming pianists, helping them develop their gifts in worship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead worship through piano playing during church services.
- Collaborate with the worship team to create a cohesive worship experience.
- Support and mentor less experienced pianists, offering coaching and encouragement.
- Participate in worship rehearsals and other related church activities.
- Embrace the church's mission of raising leaders who will transform society.
Ideal Candidate:
- A committed Christian with a heart for worship.
- Experience playing piano in a worship setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong desire to serve in a multicultural, Kingdom-minded church.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a family-oriented environment.
