With an expanding client base, we are seeking an additional Waste Tanker Operator to join our team. We are a locally owned liquid waste company based in Cooroy and have been servicing the Sunshine Coast and surrounds for 40+ years. This full-time position involves driving and operating liquid waste tankers to service commercial and domestic liquid waste removal requirements in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions, including loading and unloading waste. It is a requirement to be fit and able, as this position involves handling of commercial waste hoses and large trap lids. All PPE and extensive on-the-job training will be provided. Staff are employed under our Workplace Agreement which ensures all staff are paid above Award wages.
Essential requirements:
* Minimum manual MR Driver Licence
* Construction White Card
* 5:00am start, earlier on occasion
* Availability to participate in weekend call-out roster (averaging 3 to 4 weekends per year)
* Basic Computer Skills - our latest industry-specific cloud-based software requires our drivers to operate iPads for accurate record keeping
* Ability to obtain National Police Check
* Ability to obtain Working With Children Blue Card
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 50 per week
