We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Civil Operator based in the Wastewater team at Balcatta.
As part of the district civil team you will be regularly outdoors, Operating, inspecting and maintaining wastewater systems.

What the role will involve:
- Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
- Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
- Operate, maintain, monitor and repair wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
- Participating in overtime and rosters as required.
Key skills and experience:
- Certificate 2 or 3 National Water Package or willingness to work towards
- Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required/provided
- Western Australian MR or higher Class Drivers Licence
- Current Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets
- Experience in water supply and wastewater systems
- Ability to work a rotating roster
