- Salary $80k - $90K
SGS is looking for an experienced Well Test Operator to be responsible to assist, backup, advise or support any activity/duty necessary to achieve the company objectives/deadlines as may be practicable within the time and workload constraints of their job specification. May be required to work at an SGS workshop on occasions while at home to assist with job preparation and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities include, however, are not limited to:
- Contribute to operational tasks and support job-specific activities.
- Ensure compliance with field equipment maintenance programs.
- Participate in field crew assessments and performance reviews.
- Selecting tools and equipment
- Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systems
- Performing and directing field and laboratory tests
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
- Accurately report test data and relevant information to supervisors.
- Support job planning, ensuring programs are understood and executable.
- Verify availability and readiness of required equipment.
- Validate the accuracy and relevance of collected data.
- Adhere to SGS policies and government regulations.
- Support onsite operations in alignment with job programs.
- Report near misses and hazardous situations promptly.
- Participate in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) programs.
- Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Oilfield well site services preferably with some experience and able to carry out to competently carry out basic duties in either well testing, cased hole, production support, well integrity, or production facilities.
- Computer literacy and electronic product service experience.
- Computer experience (word processing, spreadsheet software and email).
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- HR truck license preferred.
- CV crane ticket preferred.
