The Opportunity
Join MEGT’s Apprentice Connect division at our brand-new Ringwood office and support Australia’s largest apprenticeship network.
As a Workplace Support Consultant (WSC), you'll play a key role in helping apprentices and trainees stay on track through regular check-ins and early support, ensuring a smooth start to their apprenticeship journey.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct check-ins with apprentices and trainees.
- Build rapport quickly to encourage session attendance and engagement.
- Identify potential issues early and refer to mentors or other support as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email.
- Accurately document interactions, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner.
- Support employers and stakeholders with information about apprenticeship pathways.
- Maintain strong admin and reporting standards aligned with program requirements.
Please note this is a maximum term 12 month parental leave cover.
About you
You’re a proactive, personable self-starter who’s passionate about customer service and making a positive impact in the community. You will bring:
- Confidence working autonomously, with strong self-motivation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and effectively organise time.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust.
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills.
- High level of computer literacy across a range of devices and programs.
