Yardperson

As a Yardperson with NRW, you are responsible for safely loading and unloading materials, moving equipment and keeping the yard clean and organised.

About the role:

• General yard duties including cleaning, organising and maintaining equipment and tools
• Assisting with loading/unloading deliveries and stock control
• Operating forklifts
• Coordinating stock movements and assisting with inventory control
• Supporting workshop team as required
• Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification and competence level

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in the unloading/loading of trucks, trailers and containers
• Experience in operating a forklift with long tines
• Load restraint/safe loading
• Staging freight and containers (10’) around the yard
• General warehouse duties as directed by the Supervisor
• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Forklift ticket (essential)
• Australian work rights
• 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar position
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
