The Role:
We have multiple opportunities for Unaccredited Surgical Registrars in Thoracics & AGSU to join the team at Northern Health for the 2026 medical year.
The Unaccredited General Surgical Registrar provides inpatient and outpatient care to the growing population in the Northern Suburbs, including both elective and emergency work.
This position is a 12-month fixed term role with rotations in the following departments:
- 6 Months: Acute General Surgery
- 6 Months: Thoracic Surgery
This role will include times working independently and as part of a team, no oncall commitments are required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Australian citizen, or holder of valid working VISA/ability to apply
- Holder of current AHPRA registration or equivalent/eligible to apply
- Proven knowledge and experience applicable to surgical registrar role
- Commitment to Northern Health values 'safe', 'kind', and 'together'
