Are you full of energy, curiosity, creativity and ready for a role in a fast-paced, SaaS-based, high tech company? New Relic is looking to grow our Account Development team to help us manage the ever-growing demand for our solutions and to drive new customer engagement.

Account Development Representatives hold an important position at the top and middle of the sales funnel for the entire company. ADR’s play a critical role in the development of strategic pipeline opportunities with our Account Executives and need to think creatively and coordinate with both Sales and Customer Success teams to be successful.

And to answer the question that should be on your mind: Yes, our successful ADRs are the Talent Pipeline that feeds our Account Executive and Customer Success teams.

The ideal ADR candidate, along with having a track record of top performance, will also have the organisational skills to handle a high level of activity, an aptitude for hunting and development and should have a strong interest in advancing her/his career in Sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Articulate the New Relic business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest
  • Research accounts, identify key players, provoking and generating interest
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior level executives
  • Update contact interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity and pipeline quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
Your Qualifications
  • Strong prior sales experience (within a Software/High Tech company is a plus)
  • Fluent English speaker (additional language skills would be a plus)
  • Fearless attitude – willing to take intelligent and creative risks
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high volume environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Articulate with strong business acumen
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM
