A growing, profitable and successful Australian renewable energy solutions provider based in Pakenham, seeking an Full time Accountant to join the team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will have exposure to a wide array of accounts functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analysing information
  • Summarise financial status by collating information from various reports
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, complete balance sheet reconciliations and support projects
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation registers
  • Prepare various company and financial reports
  • Prepare quarterly bank reports and liaise with facility agents
  • Review purchase requisition submissions ensuring correct allocation and budget compliance
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policy and process improvements

About you:

  • Degree qualification in Accounting essential (CA/CPA/IPA not necessary)
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Be analytically minded with excellent numeracy skills
  • Have a strong knowledge and understanding of accounting information, functions and procedures
  • Possess a high attention to detail and be highly organised
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess excellent time management skills with ability to multi task and meet deadlines
