About the Role: We have a permanent full-time role for a Camera Operator/Editor to be based in our Salvo Studios at Redfern, NSW. The Camera Operator/Editor is responsible for filming and editing video content which supports the mission of The Salvation Army. The role reports to the Senior Producer and works with an experienced team of video professionals on a wide range of productions from high-profile fundraising appeals, client testimonies to corporate videos.   • Filming video content including on location stories, interviews, and studio shoots
  • On location and studio audio recording and lighting
  • Filming independently and with a team
  • Editing engaging stories, testimonials, short films and the occasional TVC
  • Management of digital archives
  • Working closely with other production team members in Sydney and Melbourne
  • Travel and some out of office hours work required
Key Capabilities:
  • Minimum five years' experience in a video production role
  • Appropriate technical knowledge from either formal vocational training or relevant professional experience
  • Strong proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere
  • Demonstrated ability to operate video cameras (Blackmagic URSA or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate lighting and audio equipment
  • Adept in operating in a Mac environment
