Where you'll be working
You will be rostered to do different shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and will be working across the Hospital covering different wards and departments as per service plan and daily work allocation list

What you'll be doing

As part of the Envrionmental Services team, this position provides a cleaning service to the facility according to a predetermined service plan. The cleaner is responsible for maintaining all surfaces, fittings, fixtures and furniture within their allocated area in accordance with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy PD2012_061.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience as a cleaner in a healthcare facility or in a commercial/industrial setting, or demonstrated ability to perform in role
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control
