In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will be responsible for supporting the Invoice and Credit Management function within Finance. The position will have customer centricity as a key focus and will require collaboration with various different stakeholders, while ensuring MB AG and Legal/Taxation requirements are adhered. You will support the Agent/Dealer network, Business Units and Mercedes-Benz Group Services Philippines (“MBGSP”) in relation to retail and wholesale invoicing, credit management and associated processes.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate processing of manual invoice request in SAP (including credit notes and invoice corrections), in line with company and legal requirements;
  • Provide prompt support and responses to Agents queries via Dealer Query Portal (DQP);
  • Daily monitoring of Unallocated customer funds, financier and agent trade in payments;
  • Support Share Service Centre (SSC) team MBGSP, including Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and Interface Management queries and other sub-functions;
  • Work with the SSC team on AR and Bank related GL account reconciliations, including review of open items and customer refunds;
  • Keep up to date with Mercedes Benz policies (relevant to work area) and MBAuP Process Instructions;
  • Timely completion of compliance and audit requirements and internal controls;
  • Review and document processes for continuous efficiency improvements;
  • Assist with Master Data processes as and when required.
  • Identification of process or system issues and Initiation of Change requests
  • SPOC – single point of contact for BU IT (mainly software) initiatives.
Qualifikationen What you will need to be successful:
  • Impeccable attention to detail skills and excellent spoken and written communication
  • Methodical and process driven
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, CA/CPA qualified (preferred)
  • An enthusiastic team player who has the ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time and who works well in high-pressure situations
  • Strong problem solving abilities, together with sound numeracy skills and a confident consultative approach
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to self-motivate and work autonomously
  • Flexibility to work Saturday’s with Time in Lieu or another day off during the week
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (preferred)
