About the roles

We are seeking applications from experienced individuals with multi-disciplinary practice in one or more of the following strategic capabilities; cultural, economic, social or environmental, strategy to fill multiple Project Team Lead roles in January 2022. These roles will lead the inception and delivery of priority projects within the City Strategy Team that contribute to the vision and future of Parramatta. With two direct reports, this position is ideal for those looking to gain managerial experience.

Following a recent redesign, the City Strategy Team is becoming a multi-disciplinary team, shifting towards an agile operating model, which ensures we can target the strategic response to the City’s opportunities and challenges, towards prioritised outcomes. This approach is suited to those who are accustomed to fast-paced working environments, and can quickly change focus or prioritise their work program as needed.

About you

Applicants may come from a wide range of backgrounds, however they will be enthusiastic, driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, to deliver positive outcomes. This role will suit a person with a positive and proactive can-do attitude, who is creatively minded, achieves outcomes and can problem solve complexities.

Applicants will have:

  • Significant experience leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience in the development of integrated approaches to strategy, utilising contemporary methodologies, in either private or public sector.
  • Proven ability to work with initiative and versatility on a wide range of matters, including solving a range of complex problems through innovation and collaboration

What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive salary package starting from $141,832.13 p.a . (including Super), based on skills and experience.
