About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the company’s incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor incoming payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Issue invoices and account statements
- Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems
- Liaise with internal departments and customers regarding billing queries
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field are preferred
