As the Advanced Multi-Professional Assistant (MPA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Eat Walk Engage program, working collaboratively with facilitators, multidisciplinary teams, and other MPAs to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care. In this role, you will:
Coordinate and manage workload distribution for Eat Walk Engage MPAs, ensuring high-quality service delivery across wards.
Support clinicians and facilitators by implementing delegated clinical screening assessments, treatments, and patient-centred care activities.
Mentor, supervise, and guide less experienced MPAs and students, contributing to skill development and service excellence.
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual with a strong commitment to patient-centred care and service improvement. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and team player who can provide advanced assistance under the guidance of health professionals. To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent), with proven experience delivering delegated interventions in a health setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated leadership in workload management, mentoring, and maintaining service standards within scope of practice.
