About the Role

As our new Advisor, Emerging Talent, you’ll lead the development and delivery of strategic communications and engagement initiatives that attract early-career professionals to the NSW Government. You’ll create compelling content across digital and social platforms, manage events and campaigns, and build meaningful partnerships with universities and stakeholders to strengthen talent pipelines.

In this role, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects such as delivering the NSW Government Graduate Program, supporting workforce planning and shaping the future of public sector employment in NSW. Key priorities include enhancing brand presence, improving candidate engagement, and contributing to program design and evaluation.

We're Looking For

  • Strategic Communication: Experience developing and delivering marketing or communication strategies across multiple platforms
  • Content Creation: Ability to craft engaging, audience-specific content, including for digital and social media
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
  • Event Management: Capability to plan, coordinate and deliver events, workshops, and campaigns
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
  • Innovation & Improvement: A mindset for continuous improvement, research and program evaluation.
