As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dedicated allied health professionals, ensuring exceptional patient care delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with patient mobility, managing equipment and carrying out administrative tasks, all while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. This multifaceted role demands a strong commitment to continuous learning, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented healthcare environment.
About the role:
Reporting to the Allied Health Professional (AHP), some of your duties may involve:
- Providing specific therapeutic interventions under the direction of AHP staff.
- Monitoring patient response to therapies and reporting to the supervising AHP.
- Accurately maintaining documentation under the explicit direction of the supervising AHP.
About you:
- Must possess or be undertaking a Cert III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
- Demonstrated aptitude for work in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to attend to routine work on a daily basis.
- Ability to use documented resources such as policies and procedures and work instructions to enable safe work practices.
- Ability to act responsibly in an emergency situation, with an ability to completed undertake pool rescue protocol per the divisions procedures.
