Royal Rover Dog Boarding Kennels is in need of a Kennel Hand/ Office Assistant.
Reliability is key. We would like someone with at least one year of experience in handling dogs. This job could be a great entry level position for anyone that wants to gain experience and go on to Grooming, Training or, it would be a fantastic role for a vet nurse that's tired of crazy hours.
Duties include but not limited to:
Cleaning kennels, Supervising exercise periods, Walking, Bathing, Basic grooming, Feeding, Watering, Administering medication. Taking potential clients for kennel inspections, washing up, washing blankets and bedding.
Office duties include but not limited to:
Answering phones, taking email bookings, record keeping, taking both cash and eftpos payments.
This is a casual position, some weekend work and public holiday work is inevitable.
School holidays are our peak periods.
Your own vehicle and drivers license are essential as there is no public transport here.
The rate of pay is dependent on age and experience and is calculated on the Miscellaneous Award.
