Your role
This role is more than just maintenance—it’s about leadership, innovation, and collaboration. You’ll be the go-to expert for a suite of applications that are vital to our operations, working closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and external partners to deliver enhancements that align with our strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the technical oversight and support of key applications, ensuring uptime, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver enhancements and changes aligned with business needs and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (SaaS, VM-hosted, MSPs) to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business owners, helping them maximise the value of their systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, including licensing, SLAs, and enhancement pipelines.
- Drive integration improvements and support cross-application connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with UniSuper’s change, security, and identity management protocols.
- Maintain clear documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in application support and technical leadership across complex environments.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to prioritise changes based on member value.
- Confidence in navigating SaaS and externally managed platforms.
- Experience with Oracle, Jira and Confluence very desirable A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes.
