We are currently seeking dedicated Aquatic Centre Cleaners to work at a well-known facility in Brisbane. This is a hands-on cleaning role suited to reliable individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in community recreational spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and disinfecting change rooms, toilets, urinals, showers, and common areas
- Scrubbing tiles, pressure washing floors, and removing build-up from wet areas
- Steam cleaning of high-use spaces as required
- Replenishing consumables (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
- Ensuring all surfaces, floors, and glass are clean, safe, and streak-free
- Following site-specific schedules and cleaning protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience in aquatic centres, gyms, or similar high-use facilities (preferred)
- Good knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
