Asset and Configuration Analyst
to join our
Digital Operations team
within Optus Enterprise. This is your opportunity to help drive strategic improvements across IT Asset, Release, and Configuration Management practices for over 3,000 business clients. If you thrive in high-impact environments, excel in stakeholder engagement, and are passionate about service governance, operational health, and ITSM maturity—this could be your next big move
Your Day-to-Day:
Lead the adoption and execution of best practices across Asset, Release, and Configuration Management, ensuring compliance, governance, and continuous improvement.
Oversee and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accuracy of Configuration Items across their lifecycle.
Drive automation and process optimisation initiatives to improve service delivery and operational excellence.
Provide strategic and operational governance, leading regular vendor and stakeholder forums across ITSM capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and internal support units, to ensure alignment with SLAs and strategic objectives
What We're Looking For:
4+ years’ experience in the ICT industry, ideally with deep knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL v4 certification or equivalent experience highly regarded).
Proven track record managing Asset, Release or Configuration Management in large, matrixed organisations.
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence and lead across onshore and offshore teams.
Demonstrated success in driving automation and service improvement initiatives across ITSM disciplines.
Solid understanding of enterprise tools and technologies that support ITSM functions and CMDB accuracy.
Experience operating in Agile delivery environments while maintaining ITIL-aligned governance and control
