About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking reliable and motivated Assistants in Midwifery to join our Midwifery/Nursing team.
Working as an Assistant in Midwifery will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture. This position will enable you to have the opportunity to work whilst you are studying and gain valuable midwifery experience and skills as a result. It will allow you to learn within a supportive team environment and grow your clinical skills.
As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will support Registered Midwives in the delivery of general patient/client care and undertake basic midwifery duties that would otherwise have been performed by a Midwife.
In this role you will be accountable for your own actions.
To be eligible for this position, you must be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in midwifery and have completed any training required by the employer relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level.
Applicants who are enrolled in an undergraduate midwifery degree are eligible to apply.

In 2026 you must be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of your degree.
