Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated Assistant Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of our family-owned pub. You’ll support the GM and team to ensure excellent customer service, smooth daily operations, and a warm, welcoming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in opening and closing the pub
- Supervise staff during shifts and provide support where needed
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through great service
- Help manage stock, place orders, and track inventory
- Assist with scheduling and staff training
- Handle basic administrative tasks and cashing up
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years previous hospitality management experience required
- Strong people skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of stock control and till systems
