Assistant Minister

Grace West Anglican is passionate to see more and more people transformed by grace. With a new church building at Silverdale and a new city growing on our doorstep, we are praying for an Assistant Minister to lead our 9:30am Silverdale congregation .

We are seeking someone who will:

• Preach God’s Word clearly and faithfully, pointing people to Christ crucified and risen
• Lead, disciple, and grow the Silverdale congregation as a welcoming, gospel-shaped community in this semi-rural part of Sydney
• Share our vision of evangelism-driven growth, as we prayerfully seek to see people saved and transformed by Jesus
• Build and equip teams, training leaders to serve and multiply ministry
• Work in close partnership with our staff team under the leadership of the Rector

We are a multi-site church and this role has significant responsibilities that need to be exercised without supervision.

Qualifications

• Ordained Anglican clergyman with theological training
• A love for evangelism, discipleship, and team ministry
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• A clear complementarian understanding of ministry

Remuneration

In line with Sydney Anglican guidelines, according to training and experience.
