Job Description
The Haven Assistant Restaurant Manager will lead the daily operations ensuring seamless service, operational excellence, and a team culture that reflects Mondrian’s signature hospitality. You’ll play a key role in curating an unforgettable guest experience - from seamless service to supporting a dynamic calendar of events, lifestyle programming, and signature promotions.
Lead daily operations at Haven, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all areas.
Collaborate with Venue Manager and Marketing to activate seasonal events, promotions, and brand partnerships.
Manage floor operations, including cabana/table service, bar flow, and music/ambience coordination.
Deliver luxury guest experiences through polished, attentive service and product knowledge.
Assist in planning and executing on-site events, activations, and VIP hosting.
Maintain a visible leadership presence, guiding team performance and service standards.
Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and adherence to food presentation standards.
Conduct daily team briefings and oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and venue cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations while promoting upselling and guest engagement.
ABOUT YOU
You will, have:
Experience in a leadership role within luxury F&B venues, hotels, or high-end restaurants.
Passion for hospitality, service excellence, and creating unforgettable guest moments.
Strong operational acumen, with the ability to balance hands-on service with strategic oversight.
Knowledge of POS systems, financial reporting, rostering, and inventory management.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-energy environments.
Current RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) required.
