Due to an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting an Assistant Village Manager to work closely with the Village Managers across our villages in Byron Bay, Ballina and Goonellabah. It goes without say, as well as the requirements below, you've got to have a genuine commitment and passion about working with our residents!
This is a part time role: 3 days per week (22.8 hours) - flexible on days
A bit about your new role:
- Assist the Village Manager with day-to-day tasks including resident liaison, dispute resolution, resident issues, document preparation, resident welfare support and ad hoc tasks and projects
- Record and respond to complaints and incidents
- Support in all administrative duties as required Work collaboratively with other stakeholders of the business
- - such as Property, Finance, Maintenance
- Communication, both written and oral including drafting of correspondence and notices for the Village
- Support and implement the vision, objectives and policies of the organisation
- Adherence to RSL LifeCare policies and procedures
- Present in a positive and professional manner always; you are the face of the village
A bit about you:
- Previous relevant experience in a customer-focused role
- Excellent people and communication skills, both written and oral and the ability to interact with residents with respect and empathy
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly A good understanding of the Retirement Villages Act is beneficial
