We are looking for a talented Associate to join our Corporate and Commercial team, specialising in Corporate Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This is a unique opportunity to work on high-calibre transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, alongside respected professionals who are passionate about delivering strategic and commercial outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post admission experience, working in a corporate advisory position.
In this role, you will engage in a variety of projects within the M&A and Corporate Advisory space, providing critical support on transactions and drafting commercial agreements. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including undertaking due diligence.
- Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Acting for clients seeking approval from various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC and ASIC.
- Contributing to business development and marketing activities, as well as legal precedents.
- Involvement in the supervision and mentoring of both junior lawyers, and law graduates, fostering their professional development and growth within our team.
Skills/Knowledge
