About the role
As the Audience Intelligence Manager at Mamamia, you will play a pivotal role in leading research and generating insights that reflect the thoughts, behaviors, and interests of women today. This dynamic position focuses on qualitative data while being supported by quantitative analysis. You will drive audience insight programs and research partnerships that inform our commercial strategies, marketing initiatives, and content ideation, helping to solidify Mamamia's status as the leading voice for women in Australia. Your work will directly impact our understanding of our audience's shifting needs and motivations, empowering our teams to make informed decisions that resonate with our community.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Lead audience analytic programs to identify emerging trends and needs among women.
- Deliver strategic insight reports that shape audience acquisition and engagement initiatives.
- Own Mamamia's audience research pipeline, including survey design and thematic analysis.
- Support content teams with ongoing insight generation across various channels.
- Drive commercial uplift studies and support pre- and post-campaign evaluations.
- Represent the research function internally and externally, fostering collaboration.
- Oversee development and distribution of insight summaries and dashboards.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members for continuous growth.

- A team player who communicates effectively and embraces feedback with openness and respect.
- Proven experience in audience research, marketing analytics, or insights with 5+ years in the field.
- Strong quantitative research background, adept at managing end-to-end research processes.
- Proficient with survey and data tools such as Q, Alchemer, SPSS, Excel, SQL, and Google Analytics.
- Skilled at translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate across multiple departments.
- Passionate about women's media and committed to driving growth through audience intelligence.
