Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Technical Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and SQL technologies. In this role, you will lead the design, deployment, and management of Azure-based cloud solutions, while also supporting data-related services using Azure SQL and traditional SQL Server platforms. Your work will help ensure our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and data-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end Azure solutions including, PaaS, and SaaS components.
- Develop, deploy, and manage Azure SQL Database, SQL Server on Azure VMs, and SQL Managed Instances.
- Optimize and troubleshoot SQL workloads in the cloud for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design appropriate database solutions.
- Migrate on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure using tools like Data Migration Assistant, Azure Database Migration Service, and BACPAC.
- Implement and maintain database security, backup strategies, and high availability solutions in Azure.
- Support application teams by writing and optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate database deployment processes using CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Monitor and tune cloud database performance using Azure Monitor, SQL Insights, Query Store, and related tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
