We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Baker’s Assistant to support our bakery operations. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on attitude, a love for baking, and a strong sense of pride in producing high-quality, consistent products.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in a bakery setting or familiarity with commercial baking equipment (deck ovens, dough mixers, dough sheeters, etc.)
- Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Passionate about quality and consistency
- Quick learner with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Early riser – start time is between 5:00–6:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing doughs, shaping loaves, and making batters and fillings
- Operating ovens, monitoring bake times and temperatures
- Using mixers and other bakery machinery to produce goods at scale
- Maintaining precision in weighing, mixing, and baking processes
- General cleaning duties: washing dishes, mopping floors, and keeping workspaces tidy
