The Role
We’re currently seeking passionate and committed Chefs to join our Crown Banquets team. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver some of Australia’s most prestigious events, including industry galas, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
- Prepare and present a diverse range of hot and cold dishes across Crown’s various food and beverage outlets.
- Assist in the execution and plating of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions of up to 2,500 guests.
- Uphold food safety standards and demonstrate a sound understanding of HACCP protocols.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in high-volume catering or events within a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
