Responsibility:
· Prepare, season and cook food in dining and catering establishments.
Duties:
· Season and cook food according to recipes;
· Inspect food product for quality assurance;
· Keep kitchen clean and sanitary;
· Ensure portion size are correct;
· Prepare special dietary foods when necessary;
· Estimate costs involved in meals;
· Freeze and preserve food products;
· Follow OH&S and other hygiene regulations
Qualification:
· AQF Certificate IV
· 1-2 years of experience in related field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
