Southpour cafe, Penshurst has an opening for a skilled specialty barista to join our crew. Flexible shifts available 5-6 days a week including Sundays.
We're a busy venue that focuses on an exceptional customer experience and fast, accessible specialty coffee. Equipment used is La Marzocco PB Linea 3 Group Coffee , Anfim and EK grinders, Puqpress.
Skills you need:
- Great communication! Must love a bit of banter
- A genuine obsession with specialty coffee - you must understand how to taste, how to dial in
- Solid experience in a high volume cafe environment
- Be able to manage various other duties behind the coffee bar
- Experience with POS (pixel point) and cashier preferable but not essential
