At Inghams, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Maker to join our team at Edinburgh Parks within the 550 - FURTHER PROCESSING department. This is a permanent, full-time position that falls under the Operations category. As a Boiler Maker at Inghams, you will be responsible for the following: - Conducting routine maintenance on boilers and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. - Repairing and replacing defective parts using hand tools and power tools. - Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout, assembly, and installation of boiler systems. - Testing boiler systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other instruments. - Operating various welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts for boilers. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills: - Proven experience as a Boiler Maker or similar role in an industrial setting. - Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. - Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to boiler operations. - Excellent welding skills with attention to detail.
