Position: Bookkeeper As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial transactions within our office. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will contribute to our overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including posting to general ledgers
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly financial close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies or issues
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, laws, and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software like Zero and Myob and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
