What you’ll be doing:

Working as part of a team, you'll support the development of policy and doctrine, participate in and operationalise research, and support the operational management of bush and grass fires.


To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • An ability to produce policy and doctrine that is fit-for-purpose for the Rural Fire Service
  • Relevant subject matter expertise (e.g. fire behaviour analysis, prescribed burning, training, preparation of protocol & procedures)
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently
