- Demonstrate an understanding of fashion trends, aligned to the Suzanne Grae customer
- Communicate creative input and make suggestions to the product being developed
- Provide input to garment construction, fabrics and their performance I styling and durability
- Administration associated with the effective management of critical path
- Ensure preparation of reports and products etc for weekly sales meetings
- Attend fit sessions
- Attend supplier appointments as required
- Liaise with suppliers and build effective supplier relationships
- Communicate regularly with store teams and various departments
- Relevant education; Design/Buying/Merchandise Diploma or Business/Commercial degree
- Previous experience as a Buying Assistant in a fashion retail environment desirable
- A LOVE for product, and a passion to grow in this field
- Sound knowledge and proficiency in MS Suite
- Experience in managing administration tasks
- A proactive, collaborative and adaptable nature
