About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Café Supervisor / All-rounder Barista to join our East and Co Cafe. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment and enjoys both making great coffee and leading a team. You’ll work as a Barista on shift and step into the Supervisor role when the Manager is not in store.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise daily café operations in the absence of the Manager.
Train, guide and support staff in line with East and Co Café standards.
Ensure product quality, presentation, and service consistently meet our brand expectations.
Provide outstanding customer service and be a role model for the team.
Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Follow cash handling and reconciliation procedures with accuracy.
Prepare high-quality coffee with speed, consistency, and latte art.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including coffee machine maintenance.
Skills & Experience (Recommended)
Minimum 1 year experience as a Barista and/or Supervisor in a busy café.
Strong barista skills (espresso coffee, grinder adjustments, latte art, machine maintenance).
Experience leading or supervising a small team (preferred).
Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and high personal presentation standards.
Flexibility to work weekends and weekdays as rostered.

Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years hospitality experience (Barista / Café Supervisor preferred).
Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced café.
Australian PR/Citizen holder (required).
Availability to start from 25 August 2025.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
