Since June 2018, Baby J’s has been serving up sugar rushes, stacked sandwiches, and smiles across Melbourne’s west. We’re a family-run dessert bar & café, known for good vibes, great food, and exceptional service.
We’re on the lookout for a fun, reliable and energetic All-Rounder to join our team. If you love coffee, food, and people — and thrive in a fast-paced, upbeat environment — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is a hands-on role with a bit of everything!
You’ll be responsible for:
- Greeting and serving customers with warmth and energy
- Taking orders, managing front-of-house service and table turnover
- Making quality coffee and drinks (barista experience required)
- Preparing sandwiches and desserts to order
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and store presentation
- Supporting your team during busy rushes with a can-do attitude
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous barista and café/hospo experience (1+ year preferred)
- Brings excellent customer service and a positive team vibe
- Is confident with multitasking and taking initiative across different roles
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Is available for a variety of shifts - store hours, 11am-11pm, Wednesday-Sunday. Must be available for day and night shifts during the week, as well as weekends.
- Is well presented, punctual and reliable
