About the Role
We are looking for two proactive, values-driven Café Workers to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of our café, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming space that reflects our mission and values.
This is a casual position based in Panania, NSW. Salary conditions align with the Restaurant Industry Award 2010, Level 3.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle conflict or complaints with professionalism.
- Assist with café opening and closing procedures.
- Step into a leadership role when the Café Lead is unavailable.
- Stay up to date with team communication and attend team meetings as required.
- Offer prayer to customers when requested.
- Support and help oversee a team of volunteers.
- Operate in The Village coffee van as needed.
- Provide regular reports to the leadership team.
- Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience.
- Comply with Work Health and Safety policies and practices.
- Help foster a sense of community and encourage meaningful connections among customers and visitors.
