Located in the beautiful town of Mossman, Kubirri Aged Care Centre has 42 rooms that provide the best of both worlds. The Centre has a tranquil backdrop of the Mossman River, views of open farmlands and yet is only a couple of minutes away from the Mossman town centre, hospital and local attractions.
In consultation with the community, industry experts and peers, Kubirri is designed for aged care in the tropics. Our home offers a warm, inviting community atmosphere. The aim is to make residents feel at home, have more privacy and stay connected. The Centre also leads the way with a sustainable design to minimise our environmental footprint.
It would be great if you are flexible and able to work PM & Night shifts.
ABOUT YOU
We currently have positions available for individuals, who are committed to providing excellence in care and the best possible quality of life to our residents.
We are looking for candidates with:
- An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote and support the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
- Must have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and current First Aid Certificate
- Experience assisting with medication
- An understanding and commitment to the provision of truly person-centred care
- Understanding of WHS and infection control principles
- An understanding of residents’ changing care needs and how this translates in AN-ACC reviews
- Computer literacy and experience with documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a team environment National NDIS worker screening check
