About The Position

Location: Coober Pedy

Status: Contract to 30th June 2026 - Full Time

Closing Date for Applications: 30th June 2025

The Coober Pedy Homelessness and Domestic and Aboriginal Family Violence Service provides support to people who are at risk of, or are experiencing, homelessness, domestic or Aboriginal family violence.

Working independently and as part of a team, you will provide tailored support to clients through the provision of professional high-quality case management, advocacy and counselling.

Skills and Experiences:
You will:
Have good communication skills.
Be flexible and a team player.
Have experience or willing to learn case management.
Have empathy for people that are experiencing homelessness or domestic or family violence.

It is essential for you to have:
Current Australian Drivers Licence.
A willingness to participate in the after hours on-call 24-hour duty roster.
Relevant experience in a Community Services related positions, in a paid or voluntary capacity.
Interested in undertaking Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field. (e.g. Community Services, Case Management, Disability, Mental Health, Youth Work, etc).

You may also need to be available for some out of hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
