About the role
Work in an exciting and dynamic role as a Case Worker within our Family Wellbeing Support Service. This role conducts assessments to understand a service user needs, develops support plans and connects service users with the appropriate supports. Offering guidance, emotional support, practical resources, you’ll help service users to overcome barriers and work towards achieving their personal goals.
You’ll also identify, assess and respond to safety concerns of service users, maintain an active caseload and provide one on one interventions along with group activities based on the service users’ needs and goals. This position is on a permanent full-time basis and is located at our West Perth head office.
About you
We're looking for someone passionate about empowering children and young people facing challenges — someone driven to help them achieve stability, independence, and reach their full potential. You’ll have experience working with service users who are considered at risk or are presenting with early mental health concerns.
In addition, you will also possess:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Prior experience in delivering therapeutic interventions to service users that are evidence-based
- Experience working with diverse cultures and communities
- Prior case work experience within the community service or health sector
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
