About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate Caseworker to join our Integrated Domestic & Family Violence Program (IDFVS). This is your chance to be part of something deeply meaningful. The heart of this role lies in empowering women and children to reclaim safety, stability, and hope. The successful incumbent will provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to those navigating the complexities of abuse -whether they’re planning to stay, leave, or escape a violent relationship.
You’ll offer practical help, emotional care, and advocacy tailored to each family’s unique journey. Using a best-practice model, you’ll help build resilience, restore dignity, and drive meaningful change - one life at a time.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive case management to support individuals & families.
- Conduct intake assessments and safety planning.
- Facilitate family education groups.
- Build strong partnerships with services like NSW Police, DCJ, and NSW Health.
- Maintain professional records in line with privacy and child protection laws.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ case work or case management experience supporting victims of DV.
- Knowledge of DFV and Child Protection legislation.
- Strong advocacy, crisis management, and facilitation skills.
- A NSW Driver's Licence and insured vehicle.
