We’re seeking a FEMALE Disability Support Worker to support a friendly and independent male client in Coffs Harbour living with an Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury. This role offers variety, connection, and meaningful one-on-one support.
Location: Coffs Harbour
Shifts: Every Wednesday: 10:00am to 4:00pm

About the Client:
- Enjoys woodwork, metalwork, and creating in his shed
- Has a deep love for nature and animals – including feeding birds and light gardening
- Is a smoker (uses a non-tobacco herbal mix)
- Uses a powered wheelchair at home and a portable chair when out
- Drives his own vehicle, equipped with a wheelchair hoist
- Personal care. Meal prep, house cleaning, laundry
- Grocery and general shopping
- Assistance in feeding and caring for birds (pets and wild)
- Supporting with gardening and lawn maintenance
- Encouraging and assisting with hands-on activities in his garage/workshop
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent
- Australian driver's license and your own fully insured vehicle
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
- Base hourly rate: $35.15
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37
- Saturday: $49.21
- Sunday: $63.27
- Public holiday: $77.33
