Position: CASUAL OPTICAL ASSISTANT
As a casual Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our valued patients. Your key responsibilities are customer serviced based and will include:
- Handling our appointment diary and using optometry equipment to perform preliminary testing on patients.
- Assisting patients in selecting eyewear frames that suit their personal style and visual needs.
- Dispensing glasses by choosing appropriate lens options and taking accurate measurements to provide optimal frame fit and comfort.
- Providing in-depth information on our products and services.
- Collaborating with the optometrists and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Assisting in creating content for social media by taking photos and videos in-store.
Skills and Experience:
- A willingness to learn and grow within the field of optometry.
- Excellent people skills and strong attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Availability to work mainly weekends and occasionally some weekdays during busy periods (No Thursday late nights).
- The ability to work effectively within a team in a varied and busy environment.
- Our patients are predominantly Vietnamese - bilingual in Vietnamese is required.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 11 per week
